Bookings are created by selecting the 'Bookings' tab at the bottom of the screen:
Select the passenger for whom you wish to make bookings:
Select the desired route. Please note that trips are generally for one direction of travel so returns will need to be booked separately:
Select the stop where you want the passenger to board (From) and disembark (To). Once you have selected the desired stops you will be able to view them on the map:
Scroll down to select a schedule option. You can either select 'All available trips' or 'Custom schedule'.
By selecting 'All available trips' you can for example book the whole academic year, where school holidays are automatically excluded by Kura.
By selecting 'Custom schedule' you can book a specific date range. Once the date range has been selected, choose the required days of the week. Select the repetition of the booking if required and select any dates you wish to exclude from the schedule. Select CONFIRM
Kura will check for availability. If your request can be accepted your booking is held for 15 minutes and you will be asked to review and confirm the details to secure the booking:
‘Unavailable Trips’ will show any dates where the booking could not have been made, due to a lack of capacity for example. To obtain a detailed explanation as to why the booking cannot be placed, please click on the arrow next to ‘Unavailable Trips’:
Once confirmed you should see the confirmation message:
Please note that trips are generally for one direction of travel so returns or PM journeys will need to be booked separately by repeating the above process.
