After linking your account you will be prompted to download the Kura app as this is where you can make bookings, receive notifications, and track journeys all in one place. If mobile apps are not your preference or you have a complex schedule to secure, bookings can easily be made via the Kura portal. You can also add tokens here.
Once you have followed the linking process and have logged in to https://app.ridekura.com/ select home and you will be directed to the Welcome page detailing the passengers who are linked to your account.
Click on the passenger whose booking you wish to create or amend.
Click on and routes belonging to your organisation will be displayed. Please note trips are for one direction of travel so returns will need to be booked separately by selecting the AM and then the PM route.
Click on your chosen route and you will be taken to the booking screen.
Select the required date range, repetition of the bookings, and days of the week the service is required ( for example you may only need the service Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays one week followed by five days a week the next). Kura will automatically exclude dates when the organisation is closed, you just need to choose dates to exclude within your date range when the organisation is open. Next from the drop-down menus select the stop where the passenger will be boarding the vehicle, followed by the stop where they will disembark. Click CONFIRM
Kura will check for availability. If your request can be accepted your request is held for 15 minutes and you will be asked to review and confirm the details to secure the booking.
Once you press confirm you will receive confirmation in the system.
You can now book your return trip(s) by repeating the process above and selecting the PM journey. Please note this time your pick-up point will be the school or organisation.
