- The app versions remain the same:
Android: Native: 2.1.1, JS: 2.2.1
iOS: Native: 2.1.0, JS: 2.2.1
Work has been ongoing with code optimisation in preparation for adding new features.
A re-design of app appearance is also in progress.
Website Updates - New UI/UX:
You can choose to edit routepoints for trip(s) by selecting the calendar for the route and selecting a future trip date. You will see a button EDIT ROUTEPOINTS that opens a screen where you will see all routepoints with associated arrival and departure timings, geo-fence size, passing point or stop attribute and passengers expected to board and/or disembark.
You can edit an individual trip or trips within a chosen date range. For each existing routepoint you are able to edit:
- Arrival time
- Departure Time
- Passing point/stop attribute
- Geo-fence size
To further edit the route you can also:
- Remove routepoints
- Add new routepoints
- Re-order routepoints
You can preview the edited routepoints on a map, with each routepoint numbered to verify that they are in the correct order and geo-fence sizes shown, to check that these are appropriate.
Copy Route with reverse option:
You can choose to copy a trip by selecting the calendar for the route and selecting a trip scheduled for today or a future trip date.
You can choose to copy within the existing route to extend the current schedule, for example, to extend for another year. You can edit routepoints to alter timings or geo-fence sizes and add or remove routepoints, if required, before creation. The operator assigned to the original schedule will be copied to the newly scheduled trips or the operator can be changed or removed if required. This can later be edited via Add Operator if required. Once saved this will add trips to the existing route calendar, for the date range specified. The new trips scheduled will be shown in a different colour in the calendar to the original schedule.
Alternatively, you can choose to copy to create a new route. You will be asked to give the route a name so that a new route container is created upon save. This can be used where multiple vehicles may be performing the same route and tracking needs to be captured for both executions of the trip. The existing routepoints will be shown and you can alter timings or geo-fence sizes and add or remove routepoints, if required, before creation. You will also see an option to reverse routepoints, should you wish to reverse the route. The operator assigned to the original schedule will be copied to the newly scheduled trips or the operator can be changed or removed if required. This can later be edited via Add Operator if required. When saved the route will be added, with the name you provided, on the Routes summary page.
Route Builder Add Operator:
A further step has been added to the route builder to allow an operator to be assigned, if this is known at the time of route creation. If the operator is not known this step can be skipped and the operator can be added via Add Operator.
Route Builder Map Overview:
A map overview has been added to the route builder, so that you can preview the routepoints added with their order and location before saving.
Send Welcome Emails:
Functionality has been added to allow welcome emails to be sent to passengers, observers, website users or all users for the first time, where the users have been created via a data load.
Re-send Welcome Emails:
Functionality has been added to allow welcome emails to be sent to passengers, observers, website users or all users, where they have been sent a welcome email previously but have not yet created an account and linked to their profile, to encourage users to create their account.
Modifications have been made to the Vehicles page:
- Feedback will be given on save to show that the vehicle details have been saved, for new vehicle creation or editing of an existing vehicle
- View and Edit functionality has been introduced to be consistent with the rest of the site
- Features have been removed as these are not required currently for information to observers/passengers
- The New Vehicle button has been moved to be consistent with the rest of the site
Add Operator Vehicle Search:
In add operator the search function for primary and secondary vehicle selection has been improved so that all vehicles created are returned.
