Website Updates - New UI/UX:
A navigation menu bar has been introduced to allow users to access all active areas of the site. Sub menus are shown to allow quick access to features. Menu items will be displayed according to user permissions granted.
A welcome page has been introduced to allow users to navigate to their organisation, or select the organisation that they wish to view if they are linked to multiple organisations.
Kura users will be directed to the Alarm screen and can use search to navigate to organisations they wish to view.
You can choose to view a trip via the calendar for each route. If you select a scheduled trip date from the calendar you will see a button which allows you to VIEW TRIP. This opens a screen that contains all information concerning the trip. For each routepoint you will see:
- The routepoint name
- Arrival and departure timings
- Geo-fence size
- If the routepoint is a passing point or stop
- The name of passengers scheduled to board and disembark.
You can preview the routepoints on a map by selecting MAP PREVIEW from the top of the screen. Each routepoint is numbered to show stop order with geo-fence sizes represented.
View Operator Details:
Also available via the VIEW TRIP screen are the details of the operator assigned to the trip, allowing you to see:
- The primary and secondary drivers assigned
- The primary and secondary vehicles assigned
- Capacity allowance
- Cost and sell if applicable
You can choose to exclude trips from a schedule by selecting the calendar for the route and selecting a future trip date. You will see a button EXCLUDE DATES that opens a screen where you can select individual or multiple trip dates from a calendar. Once you confirm your date selections, trips for the affected dates will be removed from the schedule.
Feedback is vitally important to understand how the new site performs for users. As users are engaged with the new site a feedback tool will be available within the site, to gauge overall user experience and to gather open opinion. The information gathered will allow Kura to identify features that work well, features that would benefit from additional focus and common feature requests.
The alarm screen has been introduced and will be developed further so that links to action plans and journeys can be used, once the journey screen and events are enabled within the site.
The Action Plan form builder, with the ability to edit an existing plan, have been added to the site. The ability to add a new action plan will be added later.
