New Profile:
Enhancements have been made to the New Profiles page.
As before, to create a new profile, select the New Profile button located at the top of the profiles screen:
On initial load the New Profile page will display a Personal Information section, where name, email address and phone number can be entered:
Please note that a name is required and should consist of more than 3 characters. A profile must also have either a valid email address or an external ID so that this is uniquely identified:
Following this a System Information section is displayed containing:
- Authorisation Group: An authorisation group is assigned for an employee, for example, admins or drivers. You can view Auth Groups created in User Permissions by clicking in the box.
- Passenger Profile: Turn the passenger profile slider on if the profile is for a passenger.
- Emergency Contact: Turn the emergency contact slider on if the profile is an emergency contact. Once saved the profile will be displayed on the organisation's dashboard.
- External ID: A unique profile identifier.
Please note that the Passenger Profile slider will not be displayed for Open organisations. As users sign-up and join through the app or web using the organisation link code, there are no passenger profiles:
Below is an example of a completed form for an admin that is an emergency contact:

If the profile is for a passenger, when the Passenger Profile slider is on in the System Information section, additional sections will be displayed:
The Relationships Information section allows you to search for and select profiles that should observe the passenger:
If an observer profile is selected in error this can be removed by selecting the 'x' within a name chip or the entire contents can be cleared by selecting the 'x' within the observed by box.
The Travel Information section contains:
- Tokens: the serial number of an NFC tag or RFID card that will be used by the passenger when boarding or disembarking a vehicle. Multiple tokens can be added to a profile. To add a token, type the value and press enter to submit. Letters will be auto-capitalised when enter is selected. Tokens can also be removed by selecting the 'x' in the token chip.
- Notes: information that may be helpful for drivers such as safeguarding considerations. Notes can be added to a maximum of 500 characters.
- Tags: pre-defined tags that can be associated to a profile, so that a driver can be made aware, for example, where a passenger needs to be met at a vehicle on disembark.
Please note that essential and connect organistion profiles will only see the tokens field, as notes and tags aren't available at these levels:
Once the New Profile form is completed as required and the save button is selected, a confirmation message will display and the form will reset to allow another profile to be created, if required:
If the profile is created with a valid email address then an email invitation will be sent to the email address provided.
If a profile is not created successfully, for example, the email address provided is already used for a profile in the organisation, errors will display to explain why the profile was not created:
To return to Profiles, select 'Profiles' from the left navigation menu. A saved profile will be displayed in the profiles page:
Any profile saved with emergency contact status will be displayed on the dashboard:
Settings - Account Type - Kura Ops Only:
In Settings, an account type has been introduced for each organisation, accessible to the Kura Ops team only. By default, organisations are currently all 'Active'. If an organisation has been created for demonstration purposes or is inactive, please update the organisation's account type to 'Demo' or 'Inactive' so that the organisation's data is excluded from Quicksight reporting and isn't included in key metrics.
